I’m so pleased that the official launch for Izzy + Tristan will be on the campus of NYU, the MFA program whence I sprang. If you’re in New York City, come join the fun on March 14 at 6:00 p.m., NYU Bookstore, 726 Broadway.
Instead of taking the safer route and doing a reading, I’ve made the dubious decision to talk about the Tristan and Iseult myth, trace some of its retellings through history, make a lot of jokes about Richard Wagner and try to explain why I wrote a book about chess when I’m such a terrible chess player. It will be fun, I swear. And you can get your hands on a copy of the book.
